It works! I’m so happy I could cry. I just spent five hours writing a program that combines the marvelous technologies of tomcat and pointbase to print five lines of plain text! Now I think it will only take me 100 more hours to finish my assignment. I might need another cup of coffee.

I am going home for Easter this weekend, but there will be no big family gathering. Just me and Christine and Celine. Sunday is Celine’s cousin Jen’s birthday and she is coming to Kingston too so she can spend it with her extended family. I hope I finish this assignment soon so I can enjoy the weekend!

My picture is on the main page of geocaching web site! If you go to www.geocaching.com and hit refresh about a hundred times, you’ll see my smiling face. This is the photo they used.

I found a web site with cartoons inspired by spam subject lines, and I just spent an hour or so laughing at all of them. It’s hard to pick my favourite one, but I really liked this one and this one. Also this one.

In the past couple of days I’ve gotten a bunch of phone calls and emails from relatives and friends who just wanted to see if I was okay. I guess I must seem to have disappeared, or something. Don’t worry. I am fine, just busy. I will try to keep in touch a bit better. The rest of this week is very busy for me, but I’ll make sure to get back to every one this weekend.

A second tentative announcement was just made about the computer science courses being offered during the summer. It looks promising and I think I will most likely be able to take all the courses I need to graduate. Gah. I can’t wait till this whole thing is over!

I have a few pictures to post from last weekend and the one before that. Stay tuned.

Miscellaneous old news: Rheni’s book is now officially for sale in a bookstore near you! Thesia, Sheera, and Fizi are coming to visit for 6 weeks this summer. And, yes, the construction of the house was completed on schedule, way back in November.

In February 116 people from http://forum.origo.hu/forum visited my web site. At first I thought somebody must have posted a link to the beigli recipe, but that page only had 4 hits. I’m baffled.
