On this occasion Ma and Pa dropped by at the same time and I got to introduce them to a friendly neighbor, Melody. I came by the night before when the first coat was still wet, but it was too dark to take photos. What a difference! Ma went through the inside with me, while Pa installed more security for the shed. We were excited to see the trimming painted or piled in the house and admired the workmanship on the outside northern wall. I was wondering what the skid of red brick was for, until I climbed up onto the scaffolding .
Monday the oak staircase was put in and the first working light bulbs appeared on the ground floor!
It is better late than never. It is really great to go through those again. We really appreciate your time in putting these records that eventually will end up in our history book. Pa
